V1.0.4 - April 2024

While maintaining the familiar feel of t3, t4 brings about significant enhancements under the hood.

Improved performance, security, and usability to the product, will pave the way for future enhancements, ensuring compatibility with the latest technologies and future proof the product for decades to come.

 

Below is a list of some of the more significant changes:

1.Complete rewrite using .NET managed code. The product has been re-engineered for improved performance, security and simpler capabilities for third-party plug-in support.

2.The software now delegates most heavy tasks to the Back Office API and Data Server, resulting in a thinner, lighter, and faster experience for end users.

3.Full integration with PHCloud and a new Driver App allows drivers to receive real-time tour and passenger pickup information on their mobile devices.

4.User task and system task schedule management tools will be available through the new Back Office API, improving task automation and management.

5.Enhanced Tour Configuration, allows for bulk updates of tour categories & analysis groups across tours.

6.Active user login and login count, can now show a real time user count on login and within the users table. (Configured through the back-office UI as a scheduled task to auto update)

7.Improved licensing management for support users, making virtual support less disruptive.

8.Improved Seat Layout graphic, detailing the display of customer information in the tour browser and booking process. Includes the customer’s name, booking ref and booked date when highlighted.

9.Export format now supports JSON, XML, and CSV with customisable path locations. (Set up via a scheduled task)

10.Context-Sensitive Tabs on the reservation form. The reservations form adjusts based on context, removing dead space and improving usability. EG Accommodation, Options, Rail only, if relevant.

11.Dynamic How-to-Book steps provides guidance based on the booking context of the reservation.

12.Improved menu design throughout the software making all forms uniform and visually intuitive.

13.Seamless browser integration with modern 3rd-party APIs, utilising Microsoft technologies.

14.Compatibility with the OAuth2 email format which now supports the latest security protocols for Microsoft/Outlook 365 email accounts.

15.Redundant code from legacy integrations has been cleaned up, improving overall system efficiency and maintenance.

16.Improved handling of Booking Prefixes, optimised for efficient searching and management.

17.Enhancements to payment processing integration of the payment provider Elavon/Opayo, to improve the speed and efficiency of daily transactions.

18.Enhancements to the email editing UI to allow for easier editing of emails in a HTML format via the template editor.

19.Xlsx format now centralised and uniform across all reports

20.Preparation in place to support alternative Microsoft SQL databases.

21.Includes hundreds of smaller improvements and fixes to all areas of the software.

Cashdaybook Enhancement, includes a breakdown of Batch Payments into a child format, accessible from within the payment section.

Daily Task Manager. A new feature in development, accessible from the menu bar.

Reworked voucher sales management form, improving the overall efficiency and allocation of gift & credit vouchers.
